Despite its current tranquil appearance with large upscale homes and lots, the process of designing, developing, and permitting the subdivision was a cumbersome one - until the development company hired Aliquot.

This infill project into a Walnut Creek neighborhood was constrained by a creek, requiring a crossing and the challenged by a 42″ live oak in the center of the property. Rather than lose developable area, a turnaround encircling the oak was designed, forming a feature and back drop, viewing from the entrance over a stone bridge. Aliquot was awarded Best Site Design from the Preservation Council of the City of Walnut Creek. All lots submitted were approved.
